When you add up the cost of a LP hybrid, gaskets, oil lines, additional misc, turbo labor +++.you can usually save $3-4k by choosing the Stage 3.1 tune which has better low RPM performance.
Generally these days we recommend people avoid upgrading the LP turbo and just go with the Stage 3.1 tune which is a fraction of the cost involved with getting a car working reliably with a Stage 4.1 tune. We've had cars put out 440-450 HP immediately after tuning/turbo upgrade and there's been several cars that were never able to reach those results. Results are not guaranteed and vary car to car. Start of Injection maps SOI – modification Turbine flap duty cycle maps modification to help better transition when switching from small HP turbo to big LP turbo – it helps to reduce boost issues around 3K rpm range and keep the TQ more flat in that area – see diagram below
